I wasn't sure whether to post this in food or general so I have posted in both. I realize that it varies from person to person and all that but approximately how long does it usually take to flush out excess salt after a salty meal? It is currently nearly 2:00 am wed where I live. I had a scoop of hot chips on the beach last night for dinner (about 6:00 pm tues) and I have my assessment for weigh in and measurements at the gym tomorrow 9:30 am thurs. Naughty to have eaten it so close to my assessment, I know lol, but going home that time wasn't an option (long story haha -_-) and I didn't have much money left and it was the cheapest thing I saw lol. Also, how much inches/cm pounds can you gain before it's all been flushed out? Thanks

Depends on your hydration. If you're not a person who regularly drinks a good amount of water, it takes longer than for someone who does drink a good amount of water.
And your measurements are the next day? Don't be shocked if they are up.

Just drink a bunch of water ... if you are doing cardio today that will help "sweat it out"
Should be okay by tomorrow.0
