But I thought as long as I walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes a day I could eat Double Bacon Cheeseburgers every night? Is that not true?

I ate a 1/4 pounder and gained 1/4 pound. WTH?

I suppose someone could eat double cheeseburgers every night and still lose weight. I'm not sure why someone would choose to lose weight that way, but it can be done.

I've lost 67 lbs in 5 and a half mos and haven't restricted myself from eating anything I want to eat. I've taken nothing off the table when it comes to food. If I want fried chicken, I eat it. If I feel like eating a gourmet creme filled cupcake, I have one, so on and so forth.

The way I've done it is to follow the pattern as outlined in the original article I posted at the very beginning of this thread, you know, the real reason for my post before all of the gifs took over ;-)

Just just ordered a double cheese burger... and fries... I'm going to hell.

Just eat that meal only that day and you'll lose like a socialist country.

There will ALWAYS be programs out there by the diet industry that will tout that counting calories won't be as effective for someone as their program will. Why? Because they need your money and any BS they can come up with that makes it sound miraculous will entice desperate and lazy people to purchase. Granted there are people with hormonal or health issues that require attention, but these diet programs are targeted to the general population.

Now you are a special snowflake. Half the people reading this thread probably feel bullied.

Kinda like that one with the cat who tries to jump to a roof and misses. Same level of fascination.
