I have nearly 49. Over the past two years I worked very hard at the gym to get into shape. I am not hugely overweight, at 5' 10" I can easily carry an extra half a stone and no-one notices - except me!! Anyway I was looking good in January - weighing 10st 12lb and very toned and fit. Then I had this awful time with stress and some illness and was not been able to exercise, got out the habit and now here I am today at 11st 10lb, flabby and unfit. So having shocked myself on scales and no longer able to squeeze myself into a size 12 I have decided to take some action. So here goes - I aim to be down to 10st 10lb or maybe less by Christmas!

Hello! 10 pounds in 3 months is reasonable. That comes out to less than a pound a week. I am finding some moderate success with using this site. From my Weight Watchers days, the saying "Write what you bite" applies, and I am now quite regiment about my diet journal entries. Be honest with what you enter and I found planning my meals out ahead of time really helps, too. Good luck!0
