Help!

I kept reading recipes that used flaxseed and have read lots about the health benefits of using it, but now I've bought some, I can't seem to find any ways to use it!

Other than adding to protein shakes and sprinkling on salads/cereals, what do you do with it?!

I use them sometimes in vegan recipes as an egg substitute
if the are ground up they get all gooey if you add water.
Mostly I add them to my,smoothies for fibery goodness
I add to the bread i bake , put them in pancakes.
Google flax seed recipes, you should find tons

I add it to oatmeal and like the other poster said, it's a great replacement for vegan baking.

I use it to make a flax seed meal muffin. I make it in a mug in the microwave for a minute. Then i slice it up and eat it with a nice egg and some cheese like a breakfast sandwich-delicious!

    Thanks for the replies.

I put it in yogurt, and ok it might sound weird, i put it on chicken. I make lots of chicken and i dip in ranch dressing and put some premade bread crumbs amd flaxseed on then grill or bake.

Sure- I copied from a website...

    Ingredients:

    1/4 cup flax seed meal
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon stevia powder
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon oil
    Directions:

    1
Mix all ingredients in a coffee mug.
    2
Micorowave for one minute on high.
    3
If using frozen berries, microwave for 1:30 on high.
    4
Smooth on some butter and enjoy!
    5
It will be moist at first, but as the muffin cools it goes away.

I use half the oil and I omit any sweeteners
