My Polar FT7 has conked out. The FT4 sounds decent and is cheaper. Question: can you read calories burned while your using it instead of watching your heart rate?

i believe so, it's been awhile since I lost my FT4 but I believe you can scroll the same as the FT7.0

yes you can, I have ft4- during your workout you can switch back and forth between our heart rate, calories, time and in/out zone heart rate .
I have mine for about 3 years now- and i like it a lot.0 -
