What protine powder do you recommend?
I'm also looking for recommendations on Vegan protine powder too.
I'm looking for something that at least comes in vanilla, preferably tastes decent and had enough nutrition to be a complete meal if need be.
Thanks!

Go to bodybuilding.com and look up optimum nutrition 100% whey protein isolate. Comes in a ton of flavors, best bran out there. Tastes great, mixes really well with just about anything you can think of. 24g protein, 120 cals, just about no fat, 4g carbs I think. The site gives you the nutrition label to look at of every flavor of every size you can order. I've tried other brands and they all fell way short of optimum nutrition.0

That's what I use. I like it. I also use Plant Fusion Vanilla Bean for vegan protein powder. I use about twice as much of the ON, but I like Plant Fusion too.0 -
I use Jay Robb's Vanilla Whey Protein Powder, by far the best tasting vanilla protein powder I've had. It's a bit more expensive than some, but the taste, the fact it has 0 g of sugar and just five ingredients make it worth it to me. (110 calories, 0 fat, 1 carb, 0 sugar, 25 g protein)
I recently tried some other, less expensive ones, and was not happy with the flavors... but that is definitely an individual thing. You may want to go by your local natural grocery store and see if they have sample packs (usually for a $1 or $2). That's the best way to sample them, but not have to invest $25 to $40 in a bag of it and find out you don't like it!0 -

Plant Fusion is good, just don't make the same mistake I did and get the cookies and cream one :grumble:
I'm currently using Naturade Pea Protien Vanilla. It's pretty yummy, but only has 20 grams of protein. I usually mix it with some high protein, lactose free milk and PB2 to get some extra protein in there.
Both are vegan.0 -
true nutrition (online) sells several vegan protein powders - soy, rice, pea, hemp, and rice/pea/hemp optimized blend. You can choose your own sweetener and flavor. Their prices are pretty good when you buy a couple pounds at a time.0
