Something's Different. I'm famished!!!

It started a few weeks ago. All of a sudden I could eat a horse! And that's funny because I'm a vegetarian.
Anyone else experienced this? How did you solve it. Ironically, I've stopped working out ( just busy, nothing else). And I can't seem to get enough to eat. That's right when I was fiercely working out I did not experience hunger like this. I think I'm going to shift back to more fruits and vegetables to fill this tank. But I'm open to other suggestions.
Oh and one more thing, I can't seem to get enough sleep either. I've had frequent periods of interrupted sleep in the past, but this round it seems like I just always need to lay down.

Have you had your iron checked lately? I don't know if it could lead to hunger issues, but it could be part of the tiredness. Thyroid is another possibility ... maybe full bloodwork?
Any chance you're pregnant? (I know you probably don't want to consider that, lol). Or maybe something to do with peri-menopause?
If it continues, it might be worth a trip to the doctor0 -
Seeing a doctor and getting blood work done couldn't hurt.0

Blood work done last month and probably again in the next few weeks. It was fine.
Thanks. I will ask them to check iron levels & thyroid. My primary is a vegetarian so I think she's pretty sensitive to that.0 -
This always happens to me when I start working again. More protein!! That's my nutritionist told me. Protein should be your best friend. Beans, nuts, soy, quinoa have helped me out a lot on being full all day & having energy.0

Sleep deprivation is associated to hormonal changes which increase appetite.0
