I was wondering if anyone had any special ideas to do around the house for my wife's birthday? I do most of the cooking and cleaning, so there go those ideas already. I have a few gift certificates for a mani/pedi that she will enjoy as well as a walmart giftcard. I will get some flowers as well. Wondering if anyone had any ideas for the house for her birthday or anything that you think she might like? Let me know. Thanks!!

The best gifts are the thoughtful ones the ones that show you've been paying attention. What's something she always mentions she would like to do or have done for her? What's her favorite food color type of music? What are her interests. Has she hinted at anything lately she'd really like for her day? Happy birthday to your wife enjoy her and her day xoxo:flowerforyou:0

Well, hubby did this for me as a gift when we were dating (we weren't allowed to spend money on a Christmas gift the year we got engaged lol).
He made me a virtual scrapbook....he took a lot of pictures of us and things we'd done (get your minds out of the gutter lol), and set them to music (my fav love songs) and it played like a slide show.
So make her dinner with candles, then show her that, than take Reality's advice0 -

But for real, the scrapbook idea is really cute. What about setting up a new family photo session as a surprise? Or framing a photo of you two? Or a puppy. Just sayin'.0

Cooking and cleaning is awesome - now, ALL the cleaning, whole house, or just kitchen? A mani/pedi or massage is always at the top of my list. Breakfast in bed is nice. Otherwise, maybe pack a picnic and go to the park. Fly a kite or do something out of the ordinary. Or pack her a special lunch for that day. If she works on her birthday, include a special hand written note. Much better than a $5 card. Flowers. Eh. If she likes flowers then go for it. Or buy a flowering plant that will bloom for more than 4 days. :flowerforyou:0
