Help with negating sodium intake

So I've noticed after looking back at my diary the past few days my sodium numbers have been a bit high. I've been sick for a month and it's gotten really bad in the last week so I've been to the hospital a few times this week and have eaten like crap, but I'll eat whatever I have in the house by portions.

So, because of my sodium intake being high, I'm expecting a lot of bloating. So, beyond drinking a ****-ton of water, what else can I help to reduce the water weight/bloat like a boat effect? I already feel off enough as is and when I get bloated it makes me feel even worse. I'm just tired of feeling like crap and not being to exercise like I used to is really making me feel worse.

All advice appreciated.

Oh, and thank you if anyone actually answers!

My mother swears that if you sit in a hot bath and drink icewater you will pee like anything (after you get out of the tub). Works for me.

In general - lots of water and walking.
