I don't eat them all, as I exercise to drive a bigger deficit occasionally.

Eating them all maintains the original loss rate you set, but only if a) your target is above 1200 and b) the calories are accurate. Often the calories from exercise are over-estimated or gross not net so quite often you read that people only eat back half the extra.

Been around here a long time, got to goal then lost the plot. I lost all my weight by never eating the full amount of calories MFP allows, they seem very inflated. Since getting an HRM I almost always eat HRM allocated calories, seems logical my daily allowance is at a deficit so I exercise to eat more lol! and I am losing again with this formula so every one a winner! good luck

Kind of depends what your normal calories are. My non exercise calories are 1200 so I sometimes end up eating my exercise calories... It depends who you ask.
Log everything you eat or drink, exercise however much you feel comfortable doing and keep under maintenance calories for losing weight.
Logging everything often makes you feel better about what you've eaten, even if overeaten it is usually not that bad. Good often. It is a good way of tracking progress too.
Exercise is healthy and just a good thing to keep your body happy, even if just a little.
Everyone on my fitness pal (MFP) will support you always and make this easier for whatever you do. You are surrounded by friends here.

I generally don't log my exercise on here as MFP/cardio machines seem to way overestimate my expenditure.

Instead, I just try to stick to the calories I've set regardless of the type/duration of exercise I've done that day

I don't. Sometimes I use them as a buffer if I go over but if I'm under I don't eat them. On the days I do cardio I am a few hundred under but unless I'm starving I won't eat them back.

I used the scooby's calculator to calculate my TDEE at 1700 which already includes 3-5 hours of moderate excerise per week. I probably do at least 7 hours of strenuous excersise and weights but I'm not sure if I'm calculating things right so I err on the side of caution. I also have a few days each week where I don't log, or don't log everything I eat so the extra excersise calories evens it all out.

I don't actually log my exercise, just let my fit bit update my calories. I eat them back somedays if I'm hungry, if I'm not then no bc I'll go over on others..

You're supposed to eat them back since you're already working to a deficit.

Most will eat 50-75% of them back to allow for overestimations in calorie burn during exercise to still ensure they are at a deficit.

On Sunday, I ran a marathon and burned 4,697 calories (HRM measured). With my usual 1800 calories per day allowance, there was NOOOOO way I could eat 6,497 calories back.

Sure - I had a few beers to try to help me along ;-) .... but I maxed out at just over 3,000 for the day.....

I eat about 80%-90% of them because MFP generally inflates the calories burned. Also I've eaten my extra calories most days and I am still dropping weight no problem, so I must be doing something right!

I only eat exercise calories IF I'm hungry (and it's not a meal time) . If I'm not hungry I don't eat. I try to only eat 'healthy' foods too- so i would'nt be loading up with cookies or junk as a snack just to reach a calorie goal or because I could afford the calories.

I know some people think that a little bit of that kind of thing is okay- but for me it just starts a carb-craving cycle- so best avoided.

No, I don't trust MFP's estimates. It wants me to believe I burn hundreds every day just by walking or doing a bit of a workout, and wants me to eat it all. Um, nooo I exercise to widen my deficit, not so I can eat more. I'll eat if I get hungry.
