loosing weight rapidly, is it normal?

Hi!

After last year's unsuccesful try, I've started mfp again this year, with huge success so far.
I was 122 kg when I started to count the calories, in march 17. I keep a constant 910 Kcal deficit (2550 Kcal daily needed, and I'm eating 1640), also walk/jog regulary. I've lost 7 kg already, and don't feel hungry, tired, bad at all. (I'm a bit sleepier than before, but nothing serious). I've heard a lot about loosing weight too quick is a bad practice, so I wonder if my progress is too much?

Thanks:
Berci

    Hey

Well done for a great loss 7kg is a lot but without meaning to offend the bigger you are the more you loose in the early stages it took me a month to loose a stone but keep at it as you get smaller the losses will become smaller but any loss is good good luck

    Perfectly normal.

It slows, just don't get disheartened when it slows.

Doctor is usually the best person to consult but it isn't uncommon for weight drops to happen rapidly. Sometimes a sudden diet change can cause someone to lose 3 kilos in the first week (not 3 every week however). It basically means you have a good metabolism and it sounds like it was all in the how much you were eating. Sounds like everything is going well.

When you first start loosing weight you mainly lose a lot of fluid on board quite quickly before you start really burning the fat off. Keep at it and you will notice that the weight loss will begin to slow down, just don't give up at this point as people find the middle stage so difficult and disheartening when they're not loosing the weight as fast as they would like to.
