Staying the same weight and not moving!

Hello
I just need some general advice please.
For some bizarre reason my body always seems to stick to a generic weight and I dont no why, Ive managed to get down to 9.8 Stone but my body just seems to want to stay at that weight. I really want to get down to 9 Stone but cant get past 9.8 Stone mark on the scales, everytime i weight myself I am the same weight no matter how much i diet and exercise. Its always been a massive struggle, I can get down to 9 and half Stone no problem and very quickly but loosing that extra half a stone seems impossible. The scales just dont wana move past this point!
Its like my body as found its comfortable weight and just wants to stick at it.
Any advice on how to get past this stage.

How big is your deficit?
With little to lose going very slowly is mostly best.
You could also try switching things up, like not eating the same breakfast everyday (that's what I do) or trying a different kind of exercise...
ETA: going to maintanance for a bit and then starting to cut again might help as well. Maybe your body just needs a break0 -
Is your body's "comfortable weight" not acceptable for some reason? You might want to find a balance in terms of what is reasonably sustainable.0

I think getting down to 9 Stone for my height is deffinitely resonable. Its not just about loosing the weight I also need to work on tonning up. Its just frustrating when you cant seem to get over a certain weight no matter how hard you try.0

What are you doing to promote weight loss? Are you eating less than you burn? Do you exercise?0

I am excerising about 4/5 times a week, an hour each time, doing mostly cardio based workouts like martial arts, running, high impact areobic workout, i have also introduced weights. I eat around 1200- 1500 calories a day. Mostly lots of protein like chicken and tuna and I eat loads of veg and fruit constantly. I dont really like carbs like bread and cereal, dont enjoy eating them as I find they make me feel really sluggish and bring my skin up so just been working on a high protein low carb and meduim fat diet plan and I have really noticed the results. Its just I am now struggling to get past the 9.8 Stone mark, considering upping my cardio, and doing 1/2 more hours a week extra cardio to see if that gets the scales moving.0

What height are you? I'd love to be 9 and a half stone (5'6). Open your diary if you want more specific tips/ideas
When did you add the weight training? Your body could be holding on to water for recovery.0 -
How tall are you?
To be honest it sounds like you just need to lose body fat rather than weight, by your comment about 'toning up'. I'd recommend ditching your scales and swapping some of your cardio for heavy lifting. You'll get the body you want long before you get to the weight you want.0 -
I still feel like have little bit more weight to loose as i carry alot of my weight on my legs. Hopefully increasing my weights might start to see a change in my body shape.0

It might be. But it sounds like your body isn't cooperating and sometimes we just need to listen to our bodies. Is your current weight not okay? It doesn't sound like you are very heavy. I agree with suggestions to work on recomp and lifting heavier.0
