Why am I not loosing any weight??

I have been eating healthy for two weeks now and excercising hardcore for about a week and a half. I do kickboxing, I go to the gym, I go for runs, and I go for a walk fast paced at night with a friend. Last week every single time I stepped on the scale I was 147.6 and now I am 147.8. I usually drop weight so quickly, why am I not loosing any weight? I am still in highschool, and have a lot of stress but I am trying to maintain it. I just stopped my period so that isn't it. I get about 6 to 7 hours of sleep at night. What's going on?

Agreed, it probably has to do with what your eating. It would be helpful to open up your diary.

First off 2 weeks is a very short amount of time. Sometimes it takes your body a little while to catch up to what you are doing. Also, because you don't have a ton of weight to lose- the less you have to lose the harder it is to come off.

That being said, what are you eating? how many calories are you consuming a day? Are you weighing/measuring your food or estimating? If you're calorie counts are off than you could be eating more than you think, or you could also not be eating enough.

There are tons of mitigating factors but the bottom line is- if you are up and active and moving than you are doing more for your health than not being active. Don't rely so heavily on the scale to determine your self worth and goals. If you keep up an active and healthy lifestyle the weight will come off. It won't happen overnight so you need to be patient.

    Good luck to you.

even though it's a small amount of time, it's mostly probably muscle! don't pay attention to the scale, pay attention to how you look and feel  also pay attention to your water intake and since you're exercising a lot, make sure you're eating a lot too! x x

Its not a gain in muscle if that's what you mean. Its muscles hold water to repair themselves if you are doing new exercises.

Not to be a debbie downer but as a women you cannot put on that much muscle in that short amount of time.

My bad, I didn't see the time frame of how long you've been doing this. 2 weeks or 1 week is really not enough time to judge whether your diet is or is not working. Good luck to you.

No. Not muscle in 2 weeks eating at a calorie deficit.

OP - the only way to lose weight is to be in a calorie deficit. The only way to be sure you're in a calorie deficit is to weigh (with a food scale) and measure every bite that goes in your mouth. 2 weeks is not enough time to know if a plan is working. Be patient. In another 2 weeks, adjust accordingly.

Give yourself time and PLEASE stay away from the scale. It's not a good idea to weigh too often. Once a month keeps you sane.

Do pay attention to the scale. If she is freaking after 2 weeks then the OP is clearly someone who can benefit from short term feedback which is what the scale provides

You need to accuratly log calories

You may be eating healthy, but you can still be eating too much. You have to figure out how much you need and how much you are actually eating.
