TRYING NOT TO JUDGE OTHER PEOPLES DIETS...

I don't really want other people's opinions about what I'm doing, it's working well for me and I'm happy with it. I'm trying to extend the same courtesy to others, but today my sister bailed on our workout because she had no energy from doing the three day "military diet."
I texted, "and what does that tell you?"
And she texted, "I know, but today is my last day, and I will keep this weight off. And my metabolism has been jumpstarted."

It is taking all my willpower not to respond!!!

Did she use booster cables and a 12V car battery, or go for the full 120 volts?

    Love it!

OP - send her that! Judging is OK, if done in moderation...

Yes, I think all of us ,at times, get really excited about the 'diet" we choose to follow. We even get more excited when the diet we choose to follow is working for us. We get involved in "diet talk". We might even get a bit snipity thinking "our diet" is the be all and end all.
Well the only thing I try to remember is that the diet I am following is "good for me".

I always wonder when "I have no energy" and "boost", "up", "Increase" or "jumpstart" metabolism are used together. To keep peace just hold your tongue (or text) but I know what you are saying. My brother went on one of the prepackaged diets and the situation was very similar.

Thanks! I know it's not the end of the world for her to choose to do that diet for 3 days - if it makes her feel like she's doing something, then great. But in my head I'm just like, "That's not how it works!"
I knew my MFP crew would back me up. :)
