Toning at home

I'm pretty sure this question has been asked to death but searching didn't do me much good. I have succeeded with losing the weight but I have some areas I'd like to tone. I don't have access to a gym, so I am stuck trying to figure it all out at home. I only have hand weights right now but I am thinking about getting a resistance band. Can anyone recommend to me where to start? Should I be trying body weight exercises or resistance band? What's the best to follow? Should I consult a website or get a specific DVD? Thanks for any and all help!!

Look up "you are your own gym" and/or "convict conditioning." Those are two good places to start.

Convict conditioning...that made me laugh! I mean I get the idea and it makes sense, but I giggled when I first saw it :) Thanks for the help!
