This one's for guys. Am I alone here, or does it drive you crazy too when you're trying to share something and someone tries to fix the problem for you? Didn't ask for the advice, just looking to get something off your chest.

I feel like a ***** (isn't it women who are supposed to be saying this?) but I'm not going to lie it frustrates me like hell. Just trying to get something off my chest and the person starts chiming in like I couldn't just handle it myself.

I swear, makes me wonder what the use is in sharing at all. Doesn't do **** but open you up.

Got to learn who you can talk to and who you can't. (see, I'm doing it too.)

I have a friend who can rant and rave all he wants to me. I listen, harrumph and generally take his side. He does the same for me. That's why we're friends.

I have acquaintances who tell me what I should do, what I should have done or how their life is worse. They are one-uppers and know-it-alls and I try to talk to them as little as possible. I know another guy who always takes the other side and tries to play devil's advocate. I don't like him much either.
