Pretend you have 40 mins, 3x per week... What would you do?

Looking for advise... I've been doing 20mins elliptical + 10-15 mins total body strength Fitness Blender circuits + 5 mins stretching routines OR 10 mins elliptical + 25+ mins total body strength routines + 5 mins stretch.

But is this the most efficient use of my time? My goal is to lose 16 more lbs (GW 140).

Would I be better of with a DVD program??

    since you asked me what I would do, I would run. although I run for 53 min 4-5 times a week I'm already doing what you asked. that's how I get my exercise in. I'm not losing weight like crazy but i'm more healthy than I used to be. and I run a 5k once a month. those are fun.

    Appreciate the responses! Everyone is different (obviously), with different options available to them. But I figured that by leaving the question open, I would get a greater variety of answers and maybe something I hadn't considered before. The answers so far show some of that variety!
