Scale weight gain after upping calories?

So until the last week I've been losing pretty consistently eating at a 1 lb/week rate, often losing over a lb per week. Over the last 4-5 weeks I've been slowly increasing my calories to the .5 lb/week to slow down as I'm now <20 lbs from goal. However, over the past week my weight has jumped back up 1-2 pounds depending on the day. I know not to be too worried since it's only been 1 week.
I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced a jump like this after transitioning to a smaller deficit? How long did it last before it started dropping again? I just want to know if this is typical and how long I should wait before dropping my calories again if it doesn't start going back down.
