Go to the fabric section & get a seamstress style measuring tape. Mine is a red do-hickey and cost about $2.50

I went to the dollar store and went to the sewing section. I got 3 for a buck that have cm on one side and inches on the other. Not sure that I will ever need 3 but you never know as the cat does like to chase the ends as I try to measure myself. Its quite an adventure and should qualify as cardio.

You can actually pick one up pretty much anywhere. I got a cloth pink one (made by Singer I believe) at my grocery store. Somewhere around $2 I believe?
