    No more than 4 hours.
Why not? What happens if say you go 6 hours?

Spontaneous combustion. No one wants that.

Don't you know? At 4 hours and 1 second, you instantly drop dead from starvation.

no wonder work has been so awkward lately- I don't eat my first meal of the day here till almost 2!! I've been dead for hours!!!

Sorry, should have explained. Eating light and often improves metabolism, energy and helps maintain blood sugar levels, among other things. Your body knows it's not starving, so it will not hold on to what it has. When you go too long without eating (sleeping not included, of course) metabolism can slow down and you'll burn muscle instead of fat. Not what we want.
Sorry but none of the above (with the exception of blood sugar level) is actually true. Metabolism is improved through physical activity, not eating light and often. Metabolism slows down on ANY calorie deficit. Metabolism is lowest during sleep where one burns 100% fat for energy, which is why sleep is important.

If you are confused about how to properly eat to reach your goals, check out our website:

    www.tiberiustraining.com
You must be confused about how forum rules work. 7 posts and all spam.

    14. No Advertising, Self-Promotion, or Fund-Raising

    a) You may not post any links or mentions of other services, websites, or businesses from which you or an associate might benefit financially or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited to; posts that contain links to offsite blog posts and social media. You also may not solicit off-Forum contact from which you might benefit, e.g. "message me for more info", “I can get you free samples”, etc.
    b) Requests or solicitations for donations are also not allowed. This includes requesting contributions to “pooled fund” competitions, requests for votes in any venue (online contests, etc.), and even requests for charitable contributions. As you can imagine, we have a lot of people who would like to raise money for worthy causes through the site. As much as we'd like to support these causes, if we were to allow requests for donations, the forums would quickly become full of such requests which would take away from the main purpose of the forums - to support one another.
    c) Posts or messages to members promoting websites that compete with MyFitnessPal are also prohibited.

I eat small meals every couple hours. Keeps me from getting too hungry where I binge.

Some people do better with 6 small meals a day and others prefer one large meal. Assuming no medical issues that require you to eat on a schedule, choose whichever eating pattern works best to control your hunger, keeps your energy levels and concentration high, and helps with your gym performance. Don't be afraid to play around and find out what that is.
