Are these really good for you? I was looking at them last night while at the store, and saw they are quite high in fat(10-11g)....although they are packed with protein. just wondering!
thanks!

Fat and protein are both healthy macros that your body needs. I've never eaten them but they sound delish!0

Larabars are, for the most part, amazing and really healthful.
The company started out as independent and only made bars with up to 6 ingredients, all of which were fruits or nuts. However, now that they have been bought by General Mills, you are seeing a lot more Larabar flavors with chocolate chips or other more processed, sugary ingredients. I stay away from those.0 -
i love lara bars! hardly any ingredients, chock full of healthy fat and a bit of protein. I eat half with some trail mix for a snack..
usually kind of expensive.. over 1$ per bar... but I bought a box of 18 variety pack from big lots for 8$$$0 -
They are as fine for you as eating a serving of nuts and dried fruit, though I think that for the most part, they aren't tasty enough for the price unless you need to grab something fast and have many dietary restrictions. (I know plenty will disagree, and sometimes I think Lara bars taste amazing, but it never lasts long.)0

I like the Larabars a lot. Usually eat one every day. They're pretty healthy. Mostly fruit, nuts, and sea salt with the occasional chocolate chip.0

I don't know if you like to cook or not, OP, but I wanted to also throw it out there that there are lots of recipes for homemade Lara bars on the net.0

It's kind of funny because I get them specifically because the fat content is higher. It helps me fill out that macro a bit easier and they are mostly fruit and nuts.0

I love them because they are the perfect pre-workout snack. They aren't too heavy on the stomach and give me just enough to energy. The ingredients are nice (on the original larabars). Typically just dates & nuts. Very simple. They are expensive though.0
