Newbie

Hey I am just starting with the gym and need some advice...I like cardio like the running machine and cross trainer but what about strengh training? Just don't know where to start. I am also looking for some freinds on here to help me on my way and encourage each other :flowerforyou:

    Find a basic compound lift program. New Rules of Lifting is a good place to start. Bodybuilding.com and muscleandstrength.com are good resources. Many here swear by Starting Strength and StrongLifts as well.
