Ingredients for 6-8servings:
1 3/4 lb ground venison
1/2 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 diced green bell pepper
3/4 cup Heinz ketchup
dash of Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspon tamarind paste
2 cups water
cayenne to taste, or 1/2 a grated jalapeño
1/2 a bag of corn kernels, about 6 oz
1/3 cup raisins
1 1/2 tablespoons of coconut powder

Start meat and onions in cold skillet . Cook on med heat while stirring to completely crumble the meat, when it starts to brown up add a cup of the water to break up any lumps. You can turn heat to med high and add the garlic, bell pepper, ketchup, Worcestershire, sugar, Dijon and tamarind paste. Give it all a good stir and add the second cup of water. Simmer until you start to get a good gravy. Now add the jalapeño, corn, raisins and coconut. Simmer on medium low until the gravy is mostly gone and the meat paste will stay mounded on a spatula when you scoop it. This is based on food wishes sloppy joe recipe by Chef John. Sweet and spicy
