Hey everyone.
I am looking into starting Stronglifts 5x5 but I am seriously not sure if I can complete the reps with proper form starting out with a 45lb bar right off the bat.
Is there a modified program to work your way up?

sure there is...
I use a standard bar so it's only 20lbs
or you can start with a broomstick for form then move to dumbells and when comfortable with that...move to the empty bar.0 -
Standard bar is about 20 lbs. That's what I started with.0

Also, dumbbells. the creator of that program has an article on his site about how he started his girlfriend on the program using modified versions of the core lifts using dumbbells.
*edited because apparently I can't form complete sentences today.0 -
DB's or broomsticks- or weighted bars (lots of gyms have them for aerobics classes and things) or PVC pipe.
all great options.
If you seriously do not have access do those- do as much as you can with the 45 lb bar and move up from there.0
