Hi there. Brand new member here. A little about me:

I'm 29 and 5'4". Currently 145lbs but my target is 135. I have high blood pressure and am on medication for it. I believe that being a bit more active and making healthier choices can help me get off the meds and improve my overall health.

I'm hoping this community and these wonderful tools will help me stay focused and motivated. I travel a lot for work and find it hard to drag myself to those awful hotel gyms. MUCH rather go relax in the hot tub!

I do most of my own cooking when I'm home, but would much rather bake some cookies than stir-fry veggies. This has made my waistline a bit squashier than I'd like.

  • Hey, im new here also and am hoping it will help me focus, I eat kinda healthy but far too much... and when I eat junk I eat far too much!! Its also hard in my job as we can go for hours without meal breaks and we always have chocolate, biscuits etc to hand so its so easy to eat when starving!!

    Welcome to the fun and games (And hard work and sweating at times...) that is MFP! Thus far (little over a month) I have found it to be a very useful tool and excellent resource for support and answers to some of my questions.

    Stick to it, it is worth it!
