So my goal is to eat 1200 calories a day, this is what is shows:
Calories Burned
From Normal Daily Activity 1,690 cal/day
Net Calories Consumed*
Your Daily Goal 1,200 cal/day
Daily Calorie Deficit 490 calories
Projected Weight Loss 0.5 kg/week
is it ok to be at a calorie deficit and work out at the same time? because im buring calories, doesnt that mean I am even less than 1200? or do i have to eat back whatever i lose?
anything I should know? i am trying to lose weight btw!
(new to counting calories etc sorry for all the newbie posts)

Maybe this will help.. http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/8-ways-to-burn-calories-and-fight-fat I do a low calorie diet where I take in 1500 and burn half in the gym..0

Yes, it is ok to workout at a deficient because MFP will add the exercise calories back after you enter your exercise. The 1200 is the minimum and it is based on your activity level and weight loss goal. The 1200 is for people who don't exercise. Most people are at least "Lightly Active". You might want to bump it up so you could get more calories to eat.0

Unless you are extremely short, 1500 calories is too few for you to be consuming as a man.
Also, MFP is designed in a way that intends for you to eat back your exercise calories.
Netting 750 calories a day is dangerous for a small girl, let alone a full grown male.
Infants need to net more than 750 calories a day.0 -
