I weigh around 160 (male age 20) and want to bulk up (I have a lean/average build) but I have a very unique/different type of diet and it doesn't work well to bulk.
Here is what I don't eat:
Milk. Cheese. Most seafood. Avacodo. Peanut butter.
my main diet is:
Steak/beef. Salad (lettuce, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar). Chicken. Pasta with tomato sauce. Sushi rice with soy sauce. chips & salsa. Home made french fries or mashed potatoes. No dairy frozen fruit smoothie. Orange juice.
In a nut shell that is my current diet
I never liked skim or almond milk so try to suggest them

May I ask why you don't eat those certain foods? Just curious0

You have plenty of protein rich foods that you are eating...are you watching your macros? Doesn't really seem like an issue if you are bulking.0

Do you have SED? (Selective Eating Disorder) I do and I have a palette like yours. I only eat a few foods and otherwise I won't eat anything else either due to the taste, texture, or smell.
You can bulk up on a lot of what you are eating. Beef and chicken are good for protein. Could you do protein shakes?0 -
It's hard to give suggestions without knowing why you're following such a strict diet.
If the strict diet is for medical reasons or because you can't stand the taste of those foods, then you need to focus on eating high calorie density foods. You have quite a few of those in the list of foods that you do eat. Steak and potatoes would be good bulking food, add in a source of fat as well to bump up the calories. Nuts are a good way to increase the calories, you don't eat peanut butter but what about other nuts e.g. cashews, pistachios?
Strict diets and bulking don't usually go well together, so if you're doing a strict diet because you've been led to believe that it's necessary to cut these foods out for general health (i.e. it's not actual medical reasons and you'd rather be eating them) then eat them.0 -
I noticed lack of vegetables in both lists.0

You should be able to bulk using the foods you like/allow yourself. It may actually be easier for you than some people (e.g. I like to have cakes and sweeties, this can make hitting my protein goal while keeping fat and carbs in check a bit tricky - you should have no such problems).
If this is for health reasons you'll just have to 'suck it up' and eat the amount you need for your goals. If you're fussy, maybe try adding/trying one new thing at a time and see if you can find more things you like.0
