Allergy to Protein Powder

 I always felt a bit sick after taking protein powders, but was taking a reduced dose and it was bareable.

I recently ordered LA Muscle whey protein, and after my first shake went into full blow anaphalactic shock!!! It was pretty scary as you can imagine, and it's not something I'm keen to risk again!!!

Now that I'm lifting more at the gym, I feel that I really need to take something to boost my protein as I don't eat enough protein from food (I'm a veggie)

Anyone any ideas?!?!?!

we use a vegan protein powder, a mix of pea and hemp or brown rice. There are a good few brands out there, but quite expensive.

  • Hey there! I was wondering if you had any issues with lactose? I have to take a "whey protein ISOLATE", otherwise I has major issues with whey protein powder. The isolate basically removes the lactose. I really like the Dymatize brand but there are other brands - just wondering if you have tried the "isolate"?

    Pea, hemp, rice...
Or even unflavoured whey - if you had an allergic reaction but still are ok with dairy I'm guessing it was another ingredient?
