Starting a diet + susceptibility to sickness?

Hi all! I just started counting calories again about two weeks ago, and after months of idle and lazy health, I start running and eating less junk and BOOM! I'm sick! Has anyone else found that in the early days of eating less and exercising more, they've been more susceptibile to sickness?

I don't know if that's really a thing or not, but it does seem to happen to me whenever I begin a more intense routine.0

Looking at your diary you eat a lot of processed, packaged / boxed foods. Where is the fresh meat, vegetables and fruit?
Everyone that I know in my real life that eats a lot of packaged / boxed foods gets sick easy.0
