Alternatives to Carbs?

Hi, well anyone who looks at my diary will see my diet consists of far too many carbs and too little protein.
I'm really struggling on recipes that have low carbs can anyone help?
I dont like tomatoes, nuts, red meat.
Any ideas?

Also, start using quinoa anywhere you would normally use rice or pasta. And it can be cooked and then frozen in individual portions to make it more quick and convenient.0

I agree, you can use quinoa so many ways. I make a greek salad with it...add some chickpeas for additional protein.
Edamame beans are a great snack and have a high protein and fibre count as well.0 -
There are not really "alternatives" to carbs, but if you are looking to replace carbs, I'd make protein and veggies the focus of your meal and have carbs be more of a complement.
The other day I had an awesome high protein dinner - stuffed half a pita with hummus, roast beef deli slices, mozzarella, and lettuce. The pita has carbs, but the sandwich is stuffed with (mostly) healthy fats.
If you like seafood, I find that steamed veggie sides with a little lemon are fantastic. You can also roast them - Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, etc. are all awesome roasted.0 -
Is there a reason you need to limit carbs? I don't see "far too many" carbs in your diary at all. Not enough protein, but that can be added using the hundreds of calories you are leaving on the table every day.
