Street Hockey

I recently started playing street hockey again after about 10 years. I have been playing now a couple times a week and monitoring it with my phone (mapmyfitness) and a HRM. The app says I have burned 1000+ calories in an hour which seems a bit high, though people have noticed some thinning on my body over the last few days. Does that seem like an accurate number? I have not been eating greater than 1800 calories a day and when I play it says that I hit a deficit of 700-1200 calories in MFP.
