Question for anyone who had "sleeve" surgery

When can you introduce "liquid protein" into your diet ? I've had one nutritionist say right away like the day after surgery while another said after 7 days.

It varies depending on your surgeon and nutritionist. I was sleeved 1/27/14. I was on liquid protein 48 hours after surgery for 7 days, then I was allowed pureed foods. I have encountered other people who had to be on a clear liquid diet for 1 week, and liquids for an additional week.
