Yesterday I made 2 tortillas with sour cream, spicy chicken, lettuce, tomato and some taco sauce.

But it was boreing.

Anyone else make burritos, what do you put in them to make them filling and delicious.

I'm pretty plain with that lol

I do refried black beans, white rice, little bit of shredded cheddar, sour cream, ortega taco sauce (not even half the serving) and taco bell chipotle sauce) again not even half the serving. Sometimes I will throw some shredded lettuce if we have some on hand.

Corn or flour? I don't use corn too often.

I use the small size (not diet, but just 70-ish cal) flour tortillas for my breakfast tacos, usually I just fry an egg in a tiny bit of canola spray and when it's cooked on one side, flip it, throw the tortilla on top, then flip it again to warm the tortilla. I sometimes add veggies like bell pepper, spinach, and/or onion but usually keep it plain and top with a little bit of chipotle dressing. So tasty.

My husband and I sometimes get the larger tortillas and make wraps, spread first with hummus and then filled with sliced avocado, black beans, edamame, matchstick carrots, and a bunch of baby spinach - maybe a bit of lemon juice added. They are fantastic!

I also like quesadillas with beans, cheese, and any type of veggies (squash, zucchini, mushrooms, onions, peppers, spinach, artichokes, etc).

One thing I find that can really jazz up homemade burritos is emulating some of the Tex Mex chain restaurants by adding "fajita veggies" quickly sautéed in a pan, a bit of rice, and/or avocado. Hope this gives you a few more ideas!

My favourite way to have wraps is to sautée chicken, onions and bell peppers, mix salsa & Philadelphia cream cheese together, put them all in the tortilla and heat it in the George Foreman.

I also like fajitas with chicken coated in fajita spice mix, onions, bell peppers, salsa, cheddar and sour cream.

I buy the Ole fiber tortillas (90 cals each). I make a turkey or ham wrap with lunch meat, some cream cheese and sliced tomato. It sounds boring but it's delicious!
