Anyone meal plan? Curious as to other peoples meal plans as need to shake mine up and make it a tad healthier if possible.
I shop weekly and willing to try new things, anyone willing to share theirs if they do?

I don't really have a meal plan but I generally eat the same thing every morning during the work week:
half plain bagel (or w/e kind we have at the time)
fried egg (that I put on top of the bagel - I need this because my body craves protein or else I'm starving at 9:00 a.m.)
piece of fruit (if I have strawberries I'll take like, 10 of them since there are so little cals, or I'll have one apple, one orange, etc.)
half a cup of lactaid skim milk
And then for lunch at work I generally bring a sandwich, a thing of yogurt and then another piece of fruit.
Dinner is always changing. But I find that by doing the two things above, I never go over what my goal calorie intake is.0 -
What i always eat is below.. i switch up each week the snacks/main food...
Chicken Breast
Salmon
Almonds
Eggs
Whole Wheat Pita
Baby Spinach
Fruit (for smoothies)
Greek Yogurt (PLAIN) add Stevia
Rice Cakes with Natural Peanut Butter & Banana
Celery/Carrots & Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
Trek Mix (Trader Joes) ...So good
Spaghetti Squash (and sauce for topping...marinara or light organic alfredo)
Shrimp
hope that helped !0 -
I use the happy herbivore weekly meal plans and cookbooks. I'm vegan, but I figure your could add meat back in if you wanted. It's been very handy in that I get weekly shopping lists, prep and make most of my meals on Sunday, and don't waste so much food anymore.0

My diary is open.
I follow IIFYM - 1413 calories - 80-90C/150P/50F
Lol this week I have not been tracking my macros/micros - only calories - last week - you'll get a better understanding what I eat on a daily basis to meet my goals.
I eat whatever I want but in moderation and as to my macros/micros/calories.0 -
I meal plan!!
Every tuesday I make up a "dinner" menu for the week and get the shopping done on wednesdays after work- its just easier on wednesdays for my family's routine.
We have our staple foods like sanwhich bread lunch meats yogurts, milk cheese strings ect
and then I list it out like
wed- nachos
thurs- stirfy (all recipes so and so's recipe)
Friday pizzaville
sat- pot roast, mashed and carrots
sun- hot dogs and salad
then i input those menu items on to the "staples" list and that makes the total shop!
I divide the grocery list into categories
Fruit/veg Dairy Meats Grains Aisles Frozen
and then list the corresponding items under each category so I know what to get in what area!0
