Does anybody know how many calories is in 300g of cooked lean ground chicken. Should I go by what 100g of what the package says or is it different cause its cooked.

It's my understanding that 25% of the mass of most meats is lost through cooking (fat renders, water exudes and evaporates). If I intend to consume all of the rendered fat in a recipe (that is, I don't drain off the fat) then I log the raw weight value.
So, if I'm making soup with 300g of lean ground chicken, I would log the chicken as 300g raw. If, however, I'm making burgers out of that chicken, or otherwise leaving behind what comes out of the burgers after they are cooked, I would log
300 * 0.75 = 225 g cooked ground chicken.
Does that make sense?0
