Hello,i've been working out for 3 weeks 6 days a week. but today i'm with a cold and couldn't get the strength to workout ,and i've eaten a lot of bread and fruit,by fruit i mean strawberrys and bananas.
tomorrow im gonna do my workout but im conscious about today, and the amount of bread and sugar i've ate.
what can i do to"clean"? and,do you think it will put too much carbs or fat on me?
im kinda "scared"of what i've could done to my progresss and myself.

I am sorry, but I don't understand what the big deal is about eating bread and fruit when you are sick.
Just start afresh tomorrow amd don't worry about what you did today.
You don't need to 'clean' yourself from bread and fruit.0 -
Fruit and bread will do absolutely no harm to you. Nor will any food so long as IIFIYM. I wouldn't worry at all about the "sugar" from fruits, and if you feel that bread is a trigger food for you. Or if you'd prefer to get the bulk of your calories from somewhere else then just eat something different.0

Well, if you need some protein, have a chicken breast or something. Or go to bed. One day isn't relevant.0

Do you have a medical reason to stay away from carbs and sugar? If you don't, then I wouldn't worry about it. Carbs and sugar won't make you gain fat unless you've eaten enough of them to be over your maintenance calories for the day. And even then the damage to your weight loss goals would be minimal.0

Unless you have medical issues, you don't need to watch carbs.
Calories, specifically more than your body uses.....puts on pounds. Those calories can come from protein, fat or carbs.
There is nothing wrong with fruit. Whole fruit gives you nutrients and fiber. Unless you are foregoing protein (or another needed nutrient) and eating fruit instead... continue to eat fruit. Bread is fine too....just don't go overboard.0 -
Why does everyone that asks a question about food/calorie intake have a closed diary? :noway:
OP - I can't see your diary because it's private, but I'm sure you didn't really eat that much fruit or bread. There's nothing wrong with either. As long as you're hitting your calorie goal and macros for the day, eat whatever you see fit.0 -
One day of bread and fruit after 3 weeks, especially when you are sick, is good for you. Not only because you need nutrition to get better soon and work out tomorrow, but also because if you eat more one random day, you surprise the body and it doesn't get used to the monotonous schedule of low carbs or low fat. Trust me, if you continue your workout and diet regime tomorrow, the bread and fruit today did you good.
Get well soon!0 -
thank you so much,i dont feel so guilty anymore!0

I agree with most of the posts, fruit and bread is fine when you're sick. One of my go-to foods when I'm sick is soup... any kind of soup, good way to get in vegetables and protein. Maybe you could consider that for next time? Otherwise, carry on... you are fine! Working out 6 days a week is admirable0
