Okay so ive had Netflix for a few months now, and it just kinda hit me that i can watch it on my computer (i know im a bit slow) but anyways ive been watching it on our xbox360 and ill search for a show like House and it wont be there. but i just looked on my laptop and netflix has like 8 seasons. and a bunch of stuff that our friend has via his playstation we dont have on the xbox.
does netflix offer different shows for different devices? or something like that?
OR if i add a bunch of stuff to My List using my laptop will they suddenly show up on the xbox to?
Also.. what are some of your favorite shows to watch?

there should be no difference, try to add house to your instant que an then look at the instant que on xbox. i used to have 360 and never had a problem. I am a cheap SOB so i dropped it and bought a blu ray player that can stream it for free. The only difference is the layout of netflix. you will just have to do a search.0

I watch via my Wii and on my laptop and there is no difference. There shouldn't be one. Although House was just very recently added, so maybe it hadn't been added when you looked for it before.0

House is a pretty recent addition. We access Netflix on the Xbox, AppleTV, Tivo, Blu-Ray, Ipad apps, Wii. The Roku box in MY go to though. I do find the computer to be the best for general searching. Put anything you have your eye on in your queue and then it's super easy to keep everything right there and organized.
Shout out some of your favorites that you've already seen, that would give us a better idea of your tastes (and what you've already seen so we don't just repeat stuff *Ü*).
I have my setup downstairs in my gym ... I only watch tv or movies while working out. But it's good motivation when it's an interesting series!0 -

Thanks guys, i guess its probably that when i looked before House wasnt added yet.
As far as things ive already seen. Ive watched. All the Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Bates motel, Once upon a time, bones, pretty little liars, leverage, Dexter. and a few movies here and there.
mostly i just turn it on while im cleaning or working out as like background noise.0 -
There are different versions of Netflix depending on what country you are in. UK netflix shows different things to American Netflix and they show different again to Canadian, Denmark, all the other countries Netflix is in.
The only two reasons I know of that Netflix would show two different types would be 1) if your two machines had different IP's that show them being in different places. It is possible but unless you don't have full control over both machines to have allowed someone else to have possibly set that up they should both show the same things. 2) one of the accounts has an age limit setting on it, which as far as I know is only kids only but there may be different settings on the xbox due to any age limits on the account?.
If you add something to your list on one machine it should remember it on the other machine.
Good luck figuring it out,0
