ur results from 30ds and pain in knee joint

I started 30ds on Monday just gone a feel great for it but I did it last night and upon doing the jumping jacks my left knee hurt like mad, a sharp pain right in the joint, I ve never had any injuries etc, any advice? I dont want to give up just because of this but jet when I jog on my trampoline im fine with it

Also when did people start to see some form of change in there bodies from doing 30ds, I would love to finish this and then try insanity

I will be honest and say it makes me sweat and im puffing at the end of it, is there any way I can do to push myself harder to get the results I want, I feel soft and scared of giving up, I do take two protein shakes a day, one with breakfast on the go and one ater work out, I need ways/ advice of pushing myself and improving my stamina

I did it a couple years ago and when exercises hurt I just modified them. I know some lunges in level 3 didn't agree with me so I changed them up.

As for changes I know I could barely walk most days in the first week. :) I think I starters noticing changes after the first week or so. Keep it up you'll get through it.

Are you using weights? If you want to increase the intensity use the weights while, doing the cardio portion or Simply increase the amount. I have a set of 3 lb and 5 lb I alternate between using.
  • I do use the weights I use 3lb when on my feet and the 5lb weights for the abs but I do a few more abs when the 20minutes is up just to push myself that little bit further, think id be more positive when I see a slight change in my body

With 30DS, definitely take measurements & keep track of them. I'm halfway through & I've lost maybe 5 pounds since starting. I have lost a combined total of 9.25 inches though! The muscle gain tricks you into thinking you're not losing any weight. You are! You're just losing fat & gaining muscle at the same time. I'm very critical of myself though, and I wouldn't think I'd lost any inches if I didn't have the tape measure & loose pants to prove it!

When I started 30DS, I was very sedentary & kind of just ate whatever, so for me it's probably the huge shock to my system that's making the inches go away. I'm also following Jillian's recommended plan of 2 days 30DS, 1 day cardio, 2 days 30DS, 1 day cardio, 1 day rest.
