I started phase 2 of P90X this week, and I have been starving and tired all week. I am consuming 40g carb, 40g protein, and 20g fat. My calories usually range from 1600-1750. So, I was wondering from others who have done this workout what their calorie intake was or any tips on what I should maybe do. I am thinking I should probably up my calorie intake, but what do I eat to increase calories?

Would like to hear the replies to this.....I am contemplating starting this myself but don't want to end up eating back all the calories so thinking maybe just rigorous weight training or a less rigorous program like the T25.....actually leaning towards T25 along with weight training to get a good mix of cardio and weights.0

I'm so sad no one replied to you on this. When I did p90x after a week or two I felt insanely drained. I upped my calories and all was well. You gotta eat more! I was consuming80-100 grams protein, 150 grams carbs. (Estimating here..) You need to eat WAY WAY WAY more carbs if you're seriously only consuming 40 grams. That's not enough to sustain such intense workouts. Your muscles can't repair without carbs.0

Do you mean 40% of your cals from carbs, 40% from protein and 20% fat?0

Eat to your training. I wouldn't get all worried about calories while you're doing P90X. Eat what you need, but don't eat crap.0
