another newbie

Hello,
I've been logging my food and exercise here for a couple of weeks now and had no idea this community existed until I googled
something about fitness and came across a string of posts about net calories. I've been logging in on my phone and hadn't seen or hadn't noticed the community here. What a great surprise!
I am writing a new chapter in my life post stage 4 cancer. Had been in quite a bit of pain so not a lot of activity, hence putting on lbs
and getting out of shape. 6 months or so ago I found a new drug that has changed my life and am in a lot less pain and am back to the gym. I've hired a trainer and have been logging my food and exercise....have not lost a lb but am feeling better and stronger each day.....clothes are fitting better, yay!
