I am 5*9 and down to 173. I was at 195 and my goal is to be around 150. When I look at myself I do not see a difference which is crazy because I know there is. My jeans actually fit me loose now instead of not fitting me at all. But I hate the reflection and I fee like this is not working. I think it is a bad week.

How long did it take to get to your goal? I have been doing this about 3 months. Like I said I am usually very happy...just having a bad week lol.

It takes some people a year, or sometimes years. I think if you've lost so much in 3 short months, you've got something to be proud of.

    Hang in there.

You have made great progress! Healthy, long-term sustainable weight loss is typically slow, even slower than yours. The closer you get to goal the slower it seems to come off, too. Don't be discouraged. If this is a permanent lifestyle change for you, there's no need to rush. You've got the rest of your life to learn how to love yourself. Just keep at it and one day soon you'll recognize the changes and be so glad you stuck with it. :flowerforyou:

Hang in there. Took me 640 days to get to mine (35 days ago).
Am sure you're just having a bad day. :flowerforyou:

So far for me, I started Jan 4, 2013 so its 464 days right now. I started at 282 and now at 171, with 11 more pounds to go, I think. I have written alot abiut the same thing. I have gone from a 48 waist to a 34 now but dont see myself like that. i know i am smaller, but cant accept it. in fact last week i was looking for a shirt, which i use to wear a xxl, and tried on a large, which was to big, then tried a medium, hich was big, and then tried a small and it fit. i was standing there couldnt believe i was a small. when i look at myselk, i also dont feel like i am that size but of course the clothes tells the story plus having people saying you look good or dont need to lose anymore. for me, the 2 things that helped the most was pre logging what i ate and just realizing that i could eat pizza and gain a pound or 2 but then realize now that i may have to work for a week or 2 to take that pound off, and at this point, i want to lose that pound , more than i want that pizza or cake...hope this helps you a little... have a great night!!
