Lower Sodium Options for Business Traveler

I travel a lot for buisness, and when I do it results in long hours. I've made significant changes in my diet, and I'm fairly happy with the results. I'm borderline hypertension, so I'd prefer to lower my sodium intake to 1500 mg/day. This is a challenge at home when I'm cooking my own food and controlling the amount of sodium added to my foods. When I travel, finding meals with lower calorie counts and sodium levels becomes even more of a challenge. Subway has become my go to solution for quick food with lower calorie densities, but a single sandwich can exceed my 1500mg goal. Anyone have better options for quick foods without preparing them yourself?

Phew, that's a tough question. Basically all fast food is salty - because it must taste good, or nobody will buy it. And a lot of salt usually equals a lot of flavor as well.
My first though would be - salads! Find a salad bar and leave out the dressing, or just use very little of it.

Ask for your food to be cooked unseasoned and without salt. That there will knock out quite a bit of sodium. Also, ask for the vegetable or fruit side dish rather than a fried product, skip the soups and sauces, keep the salad dressings to a minimium, and keep a bottle of water with you all the time. Look for foods high in potassium as well, such as plain baked potatoes, bananas, sweet potatoes, and yogurt.
