I've been having trouble sleeping. Does anyone know of any good sleep aids? -Not prescriptions

Celery. I am completely serious, I can only eat it in the evening because it makes me so sleepy.0

because of medications Im on it causes me unable to fall asleep. I take generic Benedryl and Alteril caplet form not gel. The sleep gel didnt work. Alteril is a homeopathic sleep aid. The generic Benedryl is like Unisom without the price tag. You could also try chamomile tea.0

i agree. I took this when I had insomnia a few years ago and it helped immensely.
Two other things that I've found that work,
exercise

I don't know anything food related, but maybe some yoga or gentle stretching? It may help to relax you.0

I've found that when my internal clock is out of whack, I can stay awake for up to 18hrs on little to no sleep. To "reset" myself, I'll force myself to not take naps the following day, and to try to stay awake until at least 7 or 8PM. Usually after that, I can sleep normally again. If you find you're napping too much and it's throwing off your sleep, reduce them to 15-20 min power naps, or cut them out completely.0
