Net calories? Confused?

I'm confused... I have MyFitnessPal and I currently weigh 129 pounds. I want to get down to 120. I exercise 5 days a week for about an hour-hour and 15 (a mix between cardio and weight lifting) and I have my calorie goal for the day set to 1,375. I did cardio today and burned 200 calories, so now my net calories are 1,300 and I only have about 56 calories remaining. I feel so hungry still.. is this normal to lose weight? I don't eat like 2,000 calories like a guy who exercises and lifts a lot would. I definitely don't want to become anorexic.

When you join mfp and setup your profile and goals it has a built in caloric deficit to get you to that goal so when you workout and add in the exercise you get to eat those calories back without hurting the built in deficit. Simple concept but many fail to grasp it. However calories in calories out methods are starting to become a sorely outdated methodology with improving health these days. It is a good place to start but it is not the be all end all of improving body composition.0
