I need to lose about 25 pounds. I have been logging my food and am surprised by the nutrition graph. I seem to be constantly eating more protein% and fat% and not enough carbs% - according to the nurtional chart. I always thought carbs should be about 30 percent and not 50%. Is this a generic chart for everyone - or is it supposed to be just for me?

I eat 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat, and that's considered a "moderate carb" eating plan I guess? I think the USDA calls for 55% carbs, 25% protein, 20% fat or something like that, but I don't have any kidney issues and prefer the higher protein since I lift. Hope that helps! Do you know how to manually change your goals on here?0

No I don't know how to manually change it. I think I'm eating way too many carbs and not enough protein.0
