Is it true that eating a clove of garlic daily or garlic tea before breakfast makes you lose weight? Any experiences on this topic?

    While there are health benefits to consuming a moderate amount of garlic, I don't think weight loss is one of them.

    Can't say it will help you lose weight but it does have health benefits and it tastes delicious - especially with mushrooms! :D

    Eating on a deficit makes you lose weight, as stated plenty of times above.

    Eating garlic is just delicious. And it makes your breath funky.

    But it is a delicious spice to add to many tasty dishes. I eat around 4 cloves a day with my cooking, more when my nose sensitive SO is out of town. Yes, garlic is my mistress. My delicious, savory mistress.

    hahaha thanks everyone for your comments/opinions, i started eating a garlic yesterday and will try it out for a month, I guess i have nothing to lose, garlic is a lot of benefits anyways, i swallow it with a cup of milk and so war no bad odor :-).....I will repost with my findings on 05/14 :smile:

    I have eaten tons of garlic my whole life. I should be super model thin. It does have many great health benefits but is not a miracle cure.

    I love garlic. If it made you lose weight I wouldnt have got fat I eat so much of it. Sadly it isnt a miracle weight loss tool.

    Damn now I want garlic!

    No, no truth to it. Oh how I wish there were. I could move over to the "gaining weight" forum if that were true.
