CALORIE COUNTING

How come there are different calories for the same items? I know one I like to eat is Stouffer's Grandmas Chicken and Rice Bake (and I don't want to hear it isn't healthy because it is something I eat), it goes from 290 all the way up to 340, when I look online it is supposed to be 360. How are we supposed to be accurate when there are so many different items with different calories? If there is one item already in there three is no need to add 4 or 5 more. This is getting frustrating.

You could correct the incorrect items or create your own items with the appropriate values.

I edit or add my own stuff all the time. No reason to get frustrated. And then if it's something I eat often, I don't search the database for it anymore, I just copy it from my own diary into today's diary. Makes it way easier. But it takes a couple weeks to build up your own personal database of the entries you know are correct.

    Good luck.

Food distributors sometimes change the box weight - or may sell different sizes in different markets. I've noticed some Kraft cheese singles are 2/3 of an ounce while some are 3/4 of an ounce. Not a big difference, but amounts to 10 calories per slice.
