Hi,
Fairly new to MFP community and site (little over 30 days). Trying to loose 40lbs or so. I've already lost around 45lbs, so half way there!
Before I started MFP I had already lost around 30+ lbs, but I had no idea how many calories I was eating. I'm afraid probably too less. Although, after joining MFP I made the same mistake again and started out at 1500 cals a day. This was doable for me, but to be honest I felt like crap all through out. Did not feel like I was doing my body any good. I figured it was time to up the calories, and see how it goes. Lowered my weight loss goal to 1.5 lbs a week and manually edited my calories to be 2000 a day. This has felt so much better, that's its like night and day.
Just looking for some friends for encouragement and join me in this journey. My food diary is open, so feel free to have a look and let me know if I could do something better to improve my body and my weight loss goals.
My stats/exercise
5' 10
229 lbs (GOAL: 185, Started: 275)
2x week Tae Kwon Do (45 min each)
2x week OrangeTheory Intensity training (60 min each)
I try to walk at least 4 -5 miles a day everyday.
After resetting my cals to 2000/day, I do not eat back my exercise calories. I did buy a food scale and I measure everything.
Thanks for listening.
