I never listened when my relatives told me that someday I won't be able to eat what I want! I never saw my family as overweight. We just enjoyed company and family gatherings with buffet style eating and desserts galore. But now I realize that a lot of the diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and gout problems they all suffer from can be attributed to their diet and lack of exercise.

When I left for college, I surely did gain the Freshman 15 and 6 years later, I'm 65 pounds heavier. Recently my boyfriend and I have set out to get back to the shape we were in 6 years ago. While he's looking to build muscle, I want to drop down to 140lbs!! We've starting planning for a family within the next year or two and I want to be at a healthy weight if and when I get pregnant.
