Lunch for work

For my lunch I always bring a yogurt, piece of fruit, something for my sweet tooth (that averages 100-110 calories) and then a pb&J sandwich. A pb&j is my staple lunch. I've been having one of those in my lunch box/bag ever since I started school. (I went to a small private school and we had no cafeteria.) I'm need lunch ideas! I've though about wraps, but for those that do wraps, I have to questions.

1) Do you make the wrap fully at home? And if so how do you keep the wrap from falling apart before lunch?
2) Do you put whatever (if you do) seasoning/sauce on it at home, or just before you eat it? If I put the sauce on (something like Ranch dressing) when I make it, wouldn't that make things like the lettuce, soggy before eating it?

Also what are some of your favorite things to pack for lunch? I'm open to attempting to try new foods. I am a self-proclaimed picky eater, but I'm willing to try my taste buds on new things. (Nothing TO spicy and/or hot)

I do sometimes pack leftovers from the night before, but that's usually on the nights where I have to pack lunch and supper as I am gone all day from my apartment.

I'm a big PB&J fan too and that's my go-to sandwich, but I've found that it takes up a huge amount of calories bc I'll put so much PB on it. Lately, I am a converted fan of leftovers for lunches. If you have access to a microwave at work, you could also bring in homemade (or canned) soup. Personally, I like to do hummus & carrots with some cheese or something for a light lunch if I know I'll eat a big, filling dinner, especially for non-workout days that I have a lower calorie target.

As far as wraps go, I'd put any sauces on the side but put the ingredients together before leaving home so it's easy to finish preparing but not gross & soggy when lunch time rolls around :)

I'm in love with these new multi-grain pocket thin sandwich bread things. I'll fill it with lettuce, cucumber, turkey or chicken lunch meat, and low-fat cheese. I've also found a mayo/mustard blend that French's makes and it's delicious. That and a handful of cracker chips or popped chips and my lunch totals a little over 300 calories.

I usually bring a salad with lo-cal dressing on the side. I change up the ingredients including stuff like apple, sunflower seeds, craisins, hard boiled egg, tuna, broccoli, carrot slaw, etc. Pack a no sugar added jello container and that comes to around 200-250 calories for lunch. Let's me save the majority of my calories for dinner and evening snacks (which is my tough time).

During Spring, Fall and Winter I take soup to work for lunch. I have a list of regular soups that I make and occasionally add a new one in. Summer is harder since I usually do not want soup when it is warm, but I will switch to lettuce wraps. I usually pack my wrap ingredients separately and assemble everything right before I eat it so that it does not get soggy.
